Great owner - they really made our stay enjoyable! The location is perfect, right next to a cozy pub and surrounded by the beautiful Dales. It's a picturesque and peaceful spot, and we loved the surroundings. 🌄

bed was comfy, room was air-conditioned and perfect as expected. a shower and bath sheets were available here. it was stunning and particularly good in the villages large car parks.

The apartment was a great place to stay during our sightseeing trip, as it was located right in the heart of the town and close to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales and a pub.

My stay at Fox And Hounds Cottage in Starbotton was absolutely lovely. The cozy cottage in the heart of The Dales was the perfect home away from home. The pub next door served excellent food at reasonable prices, and the beautiful walks right from the doorstep were a highlight. Ian and Karen were wonderful hosts, and the sense of community in the village was unexpected and heartwarming. I highly recommend this charming cottage for a break in the stunning Yorkshire Dales.

Beautiful location only 4 km away from a cool historic site. The staff were really friendly and totally open to helping us whenever we needed. Plus, the views were breathtaking! 🌄

Delightfully set in a small village with breathtaking countryside. The pub is full of character and the location is a perfect base for exploring. Can't wait to book again soon!

The cottage was spotlessly clean and cozy, providing all the essentials for a comfortable stay. the location was idyllic, situated in a picturesque Yorkshire Dales village. the nearby pub served excellent food at reasonable prices and had a friendly atmosphere. the staff and local residents were welcoming, creating a lovely sense of community.

On arrival, we were bothered by a constant noise coming from an air conditioning unit and a generator, which affected our sleep. Some basic cooking equipment and ingredients, like salt, pepper, and oil, were lacking.

The location was perfect, situated in a charming village with stunning countryside all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our trip even more enjoyable.

It would have been nice to have some darker blinds in the bedroom window to help block out the early morning light.
